International Security Studies student wins gold at World University Games
Australian Uniroos swimmer and ANU student Justin James has successfully defended his 200 metre Individual Medley title he won in 2013, by winning gold at the 2015 World University Games in South Korea overnight.
Justin claimed a gold medal at the World University Games in dramatic circumstances when he and American, Joshua Prenot, deadheated for first place in the 200m Individual Medley in a time of 1:58.38.
Prior to flying out, Justin, an International Security student, said it would be "pretty awesome" to try and defend the title.
"But it's about doing my best and swimming to what I believe is my potential, and then keeping next year in mind with the Rio Olympics and trials," he said.
More on the win can be found on the Australian Uniroos website.
