David Horner, Professor of Australian defence history in the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at the Australian National University and author of The Spy Catchers discusses the history of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO):
Professor David Horner is the Official Historian commissioned by the to write the unclassified official history of ASIO. Launched last week by Attorney-General George Brandis, The Spy Catchers is the first of a three volume history covering events from ASIO's creation in 1949 up until 1963.
