Kathryn joined the Military & Defence Studies Program at ANU in 2015 and undertakes business and contact management for the program. During 2017-2019 she also provided support to Aus-CSCAP and she continues to assist CSCAP with editing their annual Regional Security Outlook publication.
Prior to working for ANU Kathryn worked for the Department of Defence for more than a decade in roles encompassing naval and maritime research for the Sea Power Centre, assessing and improving the effectiveness of national IT service management, strategic planning for training areas across Australia, and the management of military administrative services across various bases in the ACT.
Kathryn holds a Master of Strategic Affairs and a Master of Diplomacy (ANU), and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce specialising in Management (Monash University). She is also a HDR candidate with the Research School of Management at ANU, writing a thesis on flexible work.
